Early Morning
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and begin your safari adventure.
If visiting Tarangire National Park, enjoy a game drive through landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and crossed by the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. The park is especially known for large elephant herds, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and lions.
Alternatively, if visiting Lake Manyara National Park, explore a more compact but diverse ecosystem of lush forest, open plains, and the shores of Lake Manyara. The park is known for baboons, elephants, hippos, rich birdlife, and the possibility of spotting tree-climbing lions.
After a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.
Spend the day exploring the crater floor, where one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife can be found. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and—if fortunate—the endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, continue with afternoon wildlife viewing before ascending the crater. Later, proceed toward the Serengeti National Park area for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, continue into the vast plains of Serengeti National Park.
As you enter the park, the landscape opens into one of Africa’s most iconic wilderness areas. Enjoy a game drive en route to your camp, with excellent chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Depending on the season, wildlife activity can begin almost immediately after entering the park.
After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive before arriving at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Today is devoted to a full day of safari in Serengeti National Park.
Start early in the morning, when predators are most active. Your guide will explore different sections of the park based on wildlife movement and recent sightings. This increases your chances of seeing lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and large herds of plains game.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing with afternoon game drives. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy another full day in Serengeti National Park, giving you more time to explore different habitats and follow wildlife activity deeper into the park.
Depending on the season, this day may offer a chance to witness part of the Great Migration. Even outside migration months, the Serengeti remains exceptional for year-round wildlife viewing, including giraffes, elephants, topis, hartebeests, and a wide range of birdlife.
After a full day of game drives, return to your lodge or camp for your final night in the Serengeti.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park as you begin your journey back.
You will drive out of the park with wildlife viewing along the way, passing through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before continuing onward to Arusha, Moshi, or your departure airport, marking the end of your safari with Bavon Tours and Safaris.
